What are the different dust classes?

L-class

  •  > 99% of dust captured
  • Hazardous dust with limit values > 1mg/m3 
  • For simple and harmless dust, e.g. household dust

M-class

  • > 99.9% of dust captured
  • Hazardous dust with limit values > 0.1mg/m3
  • For all wood dust and dust containing silica. Includes dust originating from plaster, cement, concrete, tiles, paint, rock and sand.
